Laura Thanks for sharing. I was thinking about your baby...I needed good news. A friend of mine who lost a child in 2008 just had her youngest son als pass. both boys struggled with addictions and it is unspeakable ly horrible...don't want to be a downer on the board but wanted to let you know how your chick's sucess lifted my mood a bit.

Any chick pics from anyone would be gretly appreciated today.

I took these of some of my flock yesterday:

Ruuffled feathers and headlessnes"

That's Norma giving us a little live action

The General and Petunia. He is so stinkin sweet. He makes me smile.
That is SO sad! My heart goes out to your friend.

Here is my picture to cheer you up. This silly porcelain d'Aver hen, named Star because she hatched a stargazer chick and lived despite all odds, makes me smile every day

I'm so sorry for your friend, @tommysgirl That is the worst thing that can happen to a mother.

Not a chick pic, but I took this the other day and liked the colors... hope you all don't mind looking at more Dorks.

I am sorry for the loss of your Friends Son!

I will upload a pic or two today for you.

Sorry to hear about that

i'll try to take some later, too -- right now it's still too dark, and i need to get to campus soon...

Sorry to hear about your friends loss. Very sad.

Here is a photo that will perhaps cheer you up some. This is Gilda, she is a Crevecor. She is having a bad hair day. They all got melon and she managed to make her top hat a sticky mess.

The man who helps me build my coops cannot stand this bird.... she is always in the way. As soon as he sets down a tool she climbs on it, or she jumps up on his table saw to eat the saw dust. I think she just wants to help.

This is what she normally looks like
Haha. Thanks Deann just what I needed. I think she sounds delightful to boot.

And the rain last night was nice too.

So sorry about your friend's loss. How heartbreaking!

I will look through my files for some cute pics to post!

Let's see if my Internet is buff enough to post on the phone.

Itty bittys. Quail hatched last night. They felt 1 am was too soon so they moved it to 230 am. Little roo who moved in under the bedroom window felt the need to celebrate the birth with a fine burst of crowing. No picture for him!

That is why I needed this!
