Interesting tiger babies! I know this is a chicken thread but, I love your dog! Looks like my grandma's old dog Mopsy. What kind of chickens are the 4 wk. little ones?
Thank you! Rufas is a terrior mix of some sort, we got him from the pound. He is seven pounds soaking wet and a whimp. We have thought about getting a LGD but rufas is mearly a LBD ( livestock barking dog)

The Babies I hatched for New Years Day are 4 Weeks old. They are not supposed to be auto sexing or sex linked but I do have one that looks a lot different from the others. She reminds me of a Partridge Rock. It is a good thing I know the parentage. No one would be able to guess what they are.
I love that picture and it was the perfect smile generator @farmhand , no doubt @chiqita is a smile generator as are the rest of you who have taken/will take the time to send me a picture of your birds and dogs...it is all very life affirming. Thanks so much to all of you and my friend's name is Diana if you want to add her to your prayers more specifically.

They are Amelias: Cream Legbar X Crele Penedesenca crossed back to the parent, Crele Penedesenca. They will lay Dark brow or Dark olive Green eggs. I hope I have one that will lay an olive egg. I should hatch some more....
Well...when you do have someone you know is a girl I wouldn't be upset to learn about it. I can wait for it to become more obvious
Wow...Pteranadon (sp) stage or what? They have a very reptilian profile at this point. Thanks Ron..I can't remeber...CP and Amelia?

early-morning update: the marans is out of its shell and all fluffed up, and has been joined by a blue isbar chick, who's still trying to figure out how its legs work, but should be standing soon -- and there are pips started on one more of each kind of egg. hooray!
Laura Thanks for sharing. I was thinking about your baby...I needed good news. A friend of mine who lost a child in 2008 just had her youngest son als pass. both boys struggled with addictions and it is unspeakable ly horrible...don't want to be a downer on the board but wanted to let you know how your chick's sucess lifted my mood a bit.
Any chick pics from anyone would be gretly appreciated today.
I took these of some of my flock yesterday:
