California - Northern

Our meighbor is trying to say they are crowing at night whicj they arent they start at 7am tho
So sorry to hear that!

Having one will definitely help with the noise and frequency of crowing(unless there is a neighbor with one!)

I have had to do this once or twice on finches. Now that is difficult! Sometimes it works and sometimes not. I'm sure hoping it does for this little one...

Boy Howdy! My fine motor skills are terrible. If you can do that yours mus be great. Here are the hobble pics

Getting around much more correctly now.

how funny!   I was sure that was a typo!  I think the ND does get delivered straight through mucous membranes anyway and yes this one hasn't started eating or drinking yet.  Thanks hope I didn't offend with my assumption.

Lol please please assume most things are typos and not that I am just insane.

Yes, activate it to clean between hatches, pens, etc. IDK but I would guess that it does not kill lice because that's a parasite.

If you use it indoors for cutting boards, you have to activate it to kill salmonella. Which means you would need to wear the mask to avoid breathing it. Might be ok for processing times but kind of a hassle for everyday cleaning of cutting boards & countertops. I keep a spray bottle of peroxide for that. You might test to make sure that peroxide would not discolor your black counters!

For your other questions, I don't know. Call the distributor and ask. 1-800-786-4751

Nice to know that I'm not the only female in America that doesn't paint her nails.

This is another reason you are one of my heros.

X2. If they are sneaking some 4 am crows in try putting them in the garage at night.

Geneticists....I know that it is chick fluff but this baby is champagne and black...Mille Fleur chicks have a decided darker brown mixed with the black. Daddy is white silkie...any guesses on color?

Some people are late sleepers, but around here the noise ordinance states from 10 PM to 7 AM the noise restictions are in place. Might try one of those Rooster collars on the one you keep...

White is a complete and utter crapshoot. It is an ignore everything card so no way of telling what genes it is carrying.

Again with the mites issue. REALLY!

Found one today. I thought I had them conquered. Ideas please? Would like to NOT toss the eggs for 2 weeks since I'm getting 15+ a day now.

Our breakfast makers free range so they get exposed to all sorts of stuff. I've heard that the mites were really bad this year. I guess its true! I had a problem in November and thought I got rid of them. We continually dust with DE and clean out the coop. It just went a little longer this time because of all our company. Whamo! Mites again.

Suggestions? Can I use activated oxine (I know not with animals around) in the coop and kill buggies too?

Thank you all so much for being free with your knowledge. We'd be lost without the voice of experience over here!
