OHH baby!! Blue blue baaby!
Normal chickens will be fine if they go into the coop to dry off at night.OHH baby!! Blue blue baaby!
My silkies are abysmally stupid and drenched. I have rescued them about 11 times today, but they keep thinking rain is not so bad...
My showgirl roosters are worried about the girls and trying to round them up into the coop, but they are just sitting there under the stoop ( stoop is mostly dry) Oh course the pacng is getting THEM all wet.
If the coop itself is dry, should the be ok, or am I going to have to blowdry a posse of chickens???

Quote: Ditto. I notice pasty butt the most when they get chilled.
Nice brooder! I spy with my little eye..........a cockerel!Got my second brooder set up today. Now the baby chicks have more room, and they are out of my bedroom. It's a win, win. And I may have aquired 3 "mystery chicks" at the feed store today. I can't help it when they are a "mystery". I got 2 bantams, and one "top hat". I think one of the bantams is a mottled Cochin. Not sure about the other 2.
