California - Northern

when I spoke to skeffling farms in Canada she mentioned the basque in the US where from her lines. wonder if that is correct.

Skyline got his from Canada Separately from the ones that Greenfire imported. They are both from Canada and would have been from the original importation to Canada from Spain.

That is what is so cool about the ones that Megan has. They are not related closely at all.

I hope to put my boy from Megan with my GGF line girls. I got a step closer to integrating them tody.

That is very exciting. I have a boy from Megan and hope to set up a breeding pen in Winters when the UofA blue breeding is over.

I need to go out to the Farm and pick him some pullets!

I,m sure she wants them she is just a crazy 4H Mom with teenage kids like I was. Always running on all fours trying to keep up with everything. She lives in Modesto off of Old Oakdale Rd. but I think she raises some of her chickens at a ranch new the MJC West Campus.
I live off of El Vista in Modesto so she's close to me. Thank you Karen.

So happy to see they are doing okay. Those 'get ups" you have on the feet are so interesting. Is that something you came up with, or is it a regular foot fixer than you buy.????
No. I made them because the poor chicks toes curl up. I put little foam circles on the bottom, and then band-aids over the top - so they stay on.

All 7 of the OE chicks have hatched. Waiting on the only 6 out of 17 Lark Rise Ameraucana eggs that made it to lockdown to hatch. So far I have 3 that have pipped. The eggs were two days late due to the ice storm in Georgia, plus the post office really messed them up, so I am worried they will have trouble hatching

The waiting is killing me!

Here are the 7 OE chicks that hatched.
