I've always kept all my birds together. From my big LF Cochin, and I've had little D'uccles and Silkies. I haven't had any problems with having them together, they aren't at the top of the picking order, but they have been "part of the group". I haven't heard that they aren't supposed to get wet. Maybe because their feathers are different, so the water soaks in instead of rolling off the feathers?So you had silkies with LF?
