Does anyone in some subregion of sacramento have incubator services? I haven't managed to save up for a brinsea yet and these ebay eggs are screaming my name...
no but many of us can probably hatch some for you

Ok, mini rant here. Why do people always think others are deliberately trying to screw them up? I do know the Po is frustrating, but really? they know the PO tries to break and throw anything fragile?? Don't write on it, if it says fragile they will break it! And people who insist if eggs don't hatch they are infertile. Clearly nothing to do with your incubator or the fact its amazing anything shipped hatches at ALL. Why in the WORLD would I bother to send you infertile eggs and have to deal with you yelling at me???

Poach an egg, then tell me if you see a bulls eye in it. No? That is what can happen when it is in the incubator for 21 days! None of this is being directed at me, but the lack of faith we have in other humans, and the desire we have to immediately attack some when or something when stuff goes wrong makes me frustrated and sad. Its no wonder so many people stop selling eggs.

Sorry, this is a nonjudgmental place to yell.
arghhh

Anyone is FAR NorCal and have an extra CCL rooster?
How north is Placerville and wouldn't you rather really have a crele penedesenca rooster? Just hatched a few

That's how we ended up with chickens; I got some eggs from a friend and hubby REFUSED to go back to supermarket eggs.
Real eggs.......................that's how I feel too but I have 2 sisters that won't eat my eggs. Such City Slickers they are....not to be confused with you country hearted people here that happen to reside in city limits.....LOL

Another person from work recently started getting eating eggs from by. She said that she made scrambled eggs and normally put catchup on them but forgot. She said those egg were very good without anything on them!

Of course they are!

my husband at first refused to eat blue eggs when I got them years ago. He said "whatever you do, DONT feed me those".
Well ….I did….
Now he's used to them, but people that don't live with you sometimes never learn

That gave me a mental image of a duck wearing a small one of these.

This made me start laughing out loud

Michael is my biggest promoter. His customers regularly turn into MY egg buyers.

I mean what do they think?? " hrm, I going on a break. Im not going to go to the loo, chat, use my cellphone, go smoke, OH NOOO! I have this nice big stack of boxes that are maked fragile LIVE EMBRYOS!. Im going to kick all of them and put them on a pallet! That should take about 15 minutes!"
( Ok, if it was turkey eggs, MAYYYBE turkeys have chased a LOT of people and do seem to create fear in the heart of rural service workers)
I am sure it must have been Guineas........

My hubby & Dad both put Tabasco on their eggs at the restaurant, but not when I make them here at home

I know a few people that think the white eggs are OK but would never egg brown eggs knowing what else comes out of the bird. My favorite is that blue, green and pink eggs are more nutritious.
