I appreciate the replies. :) I checked out that page, but hers don't look like what I want. This is what I want: (Color not important. Fluffy bowling ball shape desired!) Above photo taken from the ABA website. Frizzle Cochin owned by Shari McCollough.
You could try Sheri Minker in Lincoln. When I was looking for Silkie chicks someone pointed me in her direction. I believe she had a pen or two of Cochins and she was talking to me about breeding frizzled varieties. She was very nice and has very beautiful birds.

I just remembered something funny...
my half sister told me that her dad names his chickens after people he likes... Margaret and Emily are two off the top of my head, they're his coworkers. I wonder if he tells these people he names his chickens after lol

When I was in High School, I named all my show animals (hogs and dairy heifers) after ex-girlfriends. It was a little awkward when Belle (the ex-gf) read the stall card of my 1400 lb Holstein heifer at the county fair....

I appreciate the replies.

Kim, Are you on Facebook? There is a breeder on the California Poultry People group that has these. Her name is Sherry Weiss. She recently sold one to Alma Rios Barraza. This is a pic of her new baby.

Quote: I wonder if it would help to be aggresive back toward them....and I don't mean after each attack. Roosters establish dominance by going after the other roosters. Once that is established, it stays pretty status quo, doesn't it? I don't mean all roos...just the ones starting to show agressive tendancies. If they are put in their place early, and reminded of that place on a regular basis, would that help curb the agression or just make it worse?

The Wheaten Ko Shamo bantam is now a recognized breed in the APA.

Quote: I always had way too many to name. I name the dogs and cats, but I have well over 75 finches and have hat close to 200 at times. I have a hard enough time thinking of a few names for the dogs and cats.

The whole process took 7 years. You have to see these in person to gre a feel for what they really look like. In the hand they are like little bricks.
