California - Northern

Salinas... yup, I'd agree with that (if it was just North & South). Tell your DH he's got my thumbs up.

Hey I have been there!!!!!

You guys have an AWESOME Walmart, it was the first time I ever saw chicken feed, horse halters, pig pellets, and dog food sold in the "Pet Dept!"

My Aunt and Uncle lived forever up in Eureka so we would go up there and do road trips to Cresent City!

I live in Humboldt County. McKinleyville to be exact. That's just 10 minutes North of Eureka, CA. We are the true Nor Cal. If I were to draw the line between Nor Cal & Central CA, I'd have to say right around Santa Rosa should be the cutoff.

Hey guys, so I'm going to be breeding my mille fleur once they grow up but in the mean time we were interested in maybe breeding our really nice show quality buff and black cochins and our barred rock hens, and I was wondering if anyone near or in Marin County has a black or buff cochin roost, or a barred rock rooster that we could borrow for a couple weeks? Let me know via email: [email protected] thanks a bunch!

Hi!! I grew up in Marinwood, grad from Terra Linda 1984 etc, Novato Community College and Santa Rosa JC. My brother lives in Novato now just off of So. Novato Blvd. I moved up to Sac in 1988 and then up to Grass Valley in 1992. I live up in Auburn now.....wishing desperately I lived at a higher elevation. I want SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think Alask!!! Growing up in Marin we always thought of ourselves as NORTHERN CA not central. My dad worked in SF for 25 years before he retired. And he definitely thought of SF as Nor Cal. We always thought of Central CA as the valley up the middle up to about Sacramento.

So is anyone going to that show in Stockton in January 12-13?

Suz
