and another view Cream Legbar pullet eggs far left

Seriously though this is the biggest chicken egg I have ever seen!!!!!!!!

This is from our Silver Sussex hen. She has not laid in a couple of days and then this!!!! I hope shes ok!!
Those are very nice eggs!

The Sussex egg is huge!

My Speckled Sussex is hatchery and lays a med egg. She and my ENORMOUS Choc Rock lay to two smallest eggs in the nest

But their personalities are huge so that makes up for the pitiful egg size. Plus I am cutting them a break because this is their first laying season. I look forward to adding Speckled and Coronation Sussex to my flock.

I am not sure about the Blue Weaten but the Splash will work

I would eventually like an Isbar roo to be my blue baby maker.

She is quite lovely but she watch those future chicks for signs of alcohol exposure.

Costco boxes... I thought it looked bad myself. Maybe thats why she has been such a calm broody. Maybe it is secondary relaxation.

I charge a lot for chicks and send them home with corid. People often just ignore your advice however. I am a bit frustrated about people freezing chicks. I know people who have been doing it for years can look at chicks and tell if it is the right temperature but you have not check the frigging lightbulb is too cold! ! Yes you 70°brooder is why they died I dont care if you just lost one. Gaaa!

If you want to be picky about homes raise them till they are outside ready pullets . You get enough inquiries then to be picky.

I also don't sell chicks around major holidays without the talk. And I don't advertise around easter at all.
If only my chickens would go fake broody!
Speaking of broody, I've got this hen that buries her eggs like she's preparing and then the other hen will step on and crush the collection. I think I'll be deprecating them two soon. By the way, the showgirls are doing super!
