The turkey del's unscrewed one of the nipples. I hope they didnt eat the metal stuff. I found the ball bearing but cant find the other pieces. Fortunately I had an extra one.

Whoa..... sounds like the ban is mostly affecting poultry sold for consumption?
Yes, but the government has the right to depopulate birds on neighboring farms. In 2004 there was an AI breakout near San Diego and they depopulated all the birds in a 1 mile radius (including parrots) of the infected farm.

Speaking of broody, I've got this hen that buries her eggs like she's preparing and then the other hen will step on and crush the collection. I think I'll be deprecating them two soon. By the way, the showgirls are doing super!
How is the broody girl from me doing? Her eggs should be hatching tomorrow or Sat.

Hey everyone . . I hatched some chicks for an order and have 2 extra W/BW chicks available, plus two Wyandotte chicks that I hatched for Zoichick as a test hatch. The two Wyandotte chicks were supposed to be SLWs, but it looks like her BLRW rooster got to her hens so the chicks are BLRW x SLW. They are colored like the BLRWs and should be beautiful birds. PM me if interested

Here are the pictures again that I posted earlier of the chicks~

Ameraucanas~ These are out of the same parent birds as Lual's chicks.

The 2 BLRW x SLW chicks~ Chick #1 far left and chick # 2 second from the right.

It is likely ok. Most things like that will go through them.

I figured its their own fault if they did. I was just surprised that they managed to unscrew it. They are funny things. I'm surprised they didn't end up very muddy. They seem determined to get into mischief.
