@PetRock Pita Pinta question.
PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME that the pita pinta boys grow faster than the girls. I have one baby that is OVER twice as big as the others!?!
I can answer that one. Yes, the boys grow very fast.
It is impressive!

honestly not good. She went cold on them eggs once I let her out on day 3. She freaked out once she heard the others, flew out my arms and I had to catch her at the neighbors house 9pm, but she's finally settled. I tried getting her to sit on them eggs after I got her back in and she just stepped all over them cracking two.How is the broody girl from me doing? Her eggs should be hatching tomorrow or Sat.
it's all good though because she's flat as a pancake now going on day 2. She just needed time to adjust. She is very lovely by the way, thank you.I can answer that one. Yes, the boys grow very fast.

For those of you who have hatched with a broody, can a large fowl hatch out bantam eggs, or will mama squash them?

LOL! I have noticed that with most of my boys. Zorro is a pretty big boy and I have a couple really big pullets so maybe he has good genes! When I hatched my original PP eggs from Megan, there were 7 girls and 2 boys. I've noticed that I have been getting more than 50% pullets in my PP hatches which is good!@PetRock Pita Pinta question.
