I have eggs locked down right now, due to hatch tomorrow. There are several early pippers.

I just had an Ayam Cemani egg pip!!!

I would definitely agree with the Barred Rock guess on the black & white chicks.  The 2nd photo could possibly be Delaware.  I know Evans get their chicks from Belt Hatchery in Fresno & they do offer Dellies.

I've got a broody black copper Maran hen!

She's between two nesting boxes, should I put her in a separate pen?
