Thanks ronott1!

I would love to find a source for Delawares, and still trying to get my hands on some quality Easter Egger's to add some variation to my egg colors

. Otherwise, anything heritage and middle to large sized. My girls would like more Australorps and Dominiques.

Sorry for the newbie question - do I just PM @debs_flock?

Check out the party page. People that are coming have birds to share. Type in Karen's Party in the search box at the top of the BYC page. I have Delaware eggs & I think there are a few others out there that do too. Turlock may be too far for you to come but there are people coming from all directions.

Quote doesn't seem to be working right. Usually you click on the quote button at the bottom of the message. Click on Multi if you want to quote more than one person, then Quote for the last one. Usually the quoted message will show up above, but it's missing this time.

I returned your email. The chicks aren't laying yet. They are a little less than 3 months old and less. The Delawares have much bigger frames than my previous line. If you want pullets (females), I may need to wait on some of them to be sure that they are female. Delawares take a little longer to tell. Right now, I think I have a couple. I will have more as they mature enough to tell.

OK I cant figure out yet how you all are quoting to help this conversation go smoother!

The lamp thing is horrid. I am so sorry!

And yes...this is me! I would be interested in juveniles. We can separate them for a few weeks before adding them to the flock if they are already laying. I sent you another email just tonight because I couldnt remember if I had sent one! :)

Are you on you phone or a PC? If on a PC there should be a "Quote" button on the bottom right of each post.

My little Cream Legbar girl is getting so big!! Tonight will be her second night outside.

Love her crest! How old is she now? One of mine is getting a little crest and the other only has 1 feather poking straight up but they're still only 4 1/2 weeks.

Alright new symptoms, 1. this is gross but i did a home necropsy and founda tiny piece of metal in his i forget what its called, the hard organ that holds rocks. and there was a weird white spot on his heart.

Wouldn't mareks have the stumbling, not able to walk well? No experience, but I've seen videos.
I lost a 2 yr old hen to Mareks a couple years ago. She had been vaccinated at the hatchery and showed none of the typical Mareks symptoms. She just stopped eating and faded away. Within a week, she was dead. I sent her to Davis and the results were Mareks tumors.
