I offered to pay Papa Brooder to hatch eggs for me and he said yes, we'll see if we can work it out. If not, I can easily get them to Chico and I would love for you to hatch them for me.

Air cell is in the big end...not the skinny end. Glad Papa is willing to help out. It would be better for the eggs to get them to him since you could probably get them there sooner and with less bouncing around. I am happy to do it if need be though.

Stupid me, you think I'd know that the air cell is on the big end. I just don't use eggs very often.
I have two Andalusians that lay white eggs, and I was going to start encouraging the Tolbunt hen to lay in the nest box...but I figure it's best she continues to lay on the ground while I'm collecting her eggs, since that's the only way I can tell them apart from the Andalusian's eggs!
