Has anyone every tried the feed that Nutrena put out "Feather Fixer" it's supposed to have some ingredient to combat mites too! They're small pellets, I've mixed in with my layer feed--great for the girls molts. Not sure about combating the mites yet.

Anyone have input on this? This one has me stumped.

that one is inconclusive. I do not see wattles yet but the comb is getting bigger. It would be a pullet if a Penedesenca.

BCollie, I agree with Ron. There is some color in the comb but wattles are still small, my quess pullet. Is it a BLRW?

Guess who's ordering an incubator today?

I made a little money and can afford to order it today, yay!
It should be here on the 22nd. Now all I need is to sell that chick I posted a page back so I can get some cheap Trader Joe's eggs to do my first hatch with. I've always wanted to hatch out Trader Joes eggs, never thought I'd be able to.
When should I buy my eggs? I know they need to sit on the counter for 24 hours and I should buy the freshest ones I can find. Should I just get them the day before the incubator arrives?

I hope you do better then I did as I was to have a incubator from a private seller last Monday with 150+ sales and guess what as of Wednesday no return e-mail's and no incubator and I have had items late before and I go with the flow of life but not returning an e-mail well that just get's me as it was a bit of money as I do not make it a habit to buy big ticket items on e-bay now an oil-filter or a door knob that is different .....

I think it's time to get Ebay involves. I only had two bad sellers, but they got the money back for me on one. The other one was a "Pre sale" scam I got suckered into. By the time it was suppose to ship, the period of time Ebay covered it for had passed.

Yes, it's a Splash Laced Red Wyandotte. Selling her because I'm only wanting a blue one. Got 5? blues in the brooder right now.

I don't know to transfer images between threads but anyone interested in a grow out pen tractor? Seems to be a pretty practical one on the Oregon thread.

I prefer the blues also. She will be a good breakfast maker for someone. The single comb is funny to see after looking at all the triple leaders I have.
