Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Busy with kid's college stuff.
How is everyone doing in this heat?? My prayer last night was "Dear Lord, can you turn on the AC??"

The Konza Ranger eggs are ahead of the Pita Pintas. They have all four internally pipped and are very active in there. Do you think they spent a day under the Broody?

If so, it may explain why those four made it. There is a theory that incubating for a day and then shipping helps them survive shipping better.

You can have all of mine you want Amy. Ran into town so DD could get her drivers license, 108° at 1:00 pm. The girls are not liking it much even with watermelon.

How sad, it says that Dr. Charlton passed away.

Oh no! He was the nicest and most helpful vet! When I took my chicks with egg yolk sac in, he was so helpful and autopsied them all at no charge. He answered all my questions, whereas sometimes vets aren't as approachable.
Just a really nice person who went out of his way to help people

Ok I got the peepers. But my hubby won't help me put them on cause they look painful. We tried and he clamped them on his finger and it hurt him. So he won't do it to the "kids". But I hear they don't hurt . Anyone have input on these?
They are a good size so I think it's "standard chicken sized"
