Graft went well...Tom has dubbed the operation "The Golf Ball Miracle" Out of one golf ball she has seemed to hatch 4 chicks. Everyone is happy!

I'm in unincorporated Glenn Co. I'm going to Chico today, so if nothing else maybe I could get her a couple TJ eggs?


I think I may need eggs. She has been banned from the nesting box and eggs have been religiously gathered right away. I just found her sitting on a nest of black walnuts that had fallen from the tree.

Just outside Willows, in an area not actually part of any town/city. I'm going to Chico in a little bit, so I'm checking the FB groups and CL right now.

Nor Cal Chickens is in Chico...hit them up for a half dozen of what makes you happy. I had a girl nest on black walnuts too...they didn't hatch
