LOL!!! I hatched 2 from eggs Chiqita's laid and they are both boys about 4 weeks old. I have a lot more young ones in the brooder though. Of course they are just beginning to feather out so too you to tell the sex on. My adults are slowing down on laying now though. I have 2 adult A&Ms (1 male for sure, the other I think is a hen), 4 Tuxedos (1 adult male, 2 asult females and 1 young one I think is female) . 2 adult male and 4 adult female tibetans and 1 adult male Pharoah and 1 asdult female pharoah. They are all from Chiqita. I order the eggs for the 4 week olds from someone on the East Coast to have some new blood and threw in few of the eggs from my adults. I got the 2 male Tibetans, the young Tuxedo and 2 that are colored differently that the others. They are lighter and redder with a different pattern on the feathers. I have no idea what the color would be called but someone on FB said they looked like Rosettas.

You can see on right in the middle here.

Quote: She is definitley an enabler.....but sucks is where I draw the line. We have had them before and they are to messy for me. We also have a koi pond and I'm sure the Koi would be gone very quickly.

Question on weird roo behavior...why would a cockerel be digging around in the nesting boxes? 2 days in a row I've caught one of my bantam roos moving straw around and making egg-song noises..

Sounds like he is telling the girls to get busy and lay eggs!

Come on up and see my interactive sculptures. I'll even play a little Marvin Gaye.

LOL! too funny - that's totally him!

I'll bet that was hilarious. I know how squeaky this full-sized boy is at five weeks, a three week old banty must have sound like a very confused guinea pig.

I want to thank @PetRock for letting me house my crow machines with hers out on the farm. My one daughter who hates the chickens and cant wait to get out of the house (senior in HS) is thrilled that the garage band is gone.

The new pita pullet she brought me is really nice sweet bird we named her Sabrina. The 2 girls are now sharing the small coop without all the male attention and seem to be getting on well

I dont know if she is familiar with nipple watering or not otherwise things are good.

She is not familiar with nipple watering but she should catch on fast with her friend showing her how! I'm so glad that you like her!
