That is good news!

I have been getting a lot of blue eggs too. The OE pullets that I have are too small still but they are growing very fast.

I am going to have so many pretty eggs this spring!

Will you please get the memo to my UofA blue pullets? They were at POL a week ago & so far....nothing.

I think I'd like more of the oe's and Arkansas blues this spring.I didn't keep the boys, just really like their egg laying abilities. I have no room for more pens.or so the story goes this year ;)
They are so great for the comedic factor alone. Like polish...
you're torturing me over here! You're a one woman enabling machine! My son actually said we need a polish when he saw the pics. And he's not even into chickens :)

So jealous of all the new babies. DD and I are headed to Eugene for a pigeon show on Saturday. We are hoping to find more Parlor Rollers. So far I'm 2 for 2 on Walmart rescue pigeons. Hoping we can get some good foster parent pairs.

@lizgarf that is the best news!! So glad your beautiful boys will have a nice place!

@TheKeeper The sizzled cuckoo is amazing! I am adding 1.5 chickens (3 bantams) this spring and would love like crazy for one of them to look like that lionfish! A cockerel in that pattern would actually be the best so I could keep on making em

Did anyone see my duck questions?

My uncle has one who has a rich and loving relationship with the goat. Does he need a friend or two of his own species?

Do they have to range to be happy?...His doesn't but he has a pond and a big pen

Breed suggestions?

Cute as they are don't want any ducklings...at what age can you tell males from females?

I thought someone answered?

As far as I know ducks need water to be happy. I do not know about free ranging and yes, get him some friends. I would wonder about goats and ducks because of the worm load in goats.

I would get silver appleyard ducks--good layers and good meat production.
