If im understanding you thats only 3Hay guys!! Were a unique state. Some of the highest mountains and the lowest areas like Deatjh Valley. But for practical reasons the state is actually divided into four (4) areas. The mountains that cut across from Santa Barbara east above L.A. separate them as Southern /Calif. the next is classified as the Central Valley. since it all is so fertile and has so much heat and most of the time plenty of water. It runs from Bakersfield up thru Fresno, Sacramento to Redding. Covers a large area. Then there are us hibernating Northern Calif., bunch where we have mild summers and cold winters and that is from the Coast inland over the coastal range (which gets snow in the winter) A section called the Lost coast is northern Calif. for 150 miles from Oregon border down to Garberville in the mountains and Redwoods. That's about it and all are different for topical landscape and temperatures. NormD

Kim - are you showing at the PPBA show this year?
I wanted to tell you that I actually sent in my entry, last Sat. So, I guess I'm showing for sure. I'm kind of terrified, since my birds are no where near as good as they should be for this level of show. I'm trying to look at it as a learning experience. At least the breeds will be there for the public to see.
