Me too! They are smaller than the Black Copper Marans & a little lighter. More oval than round too.

That's hers at the 3 o'clock position.

Yes - this is first week laying eggs. Yippee!

SandHill already lists the Rose Comb Rhode Island Whites as sold out for the remainder of 2015!

I got a reservation in 2 months + ago, so I should be safe. Fingers crossed. Does make it very, very tempting to put in an Urch order for some though.

I have read about people waiting months to a year for a SandHill order and wind up not getting what they wanted.

Urch has breeds that win at poultry shows. Sandhill does not breed to standard but is a preservation place.
