California - Northern

My apologies if this sounds like a dumb, no-brainer question:
- If we have already sold a bird & are meeting up at the show because it's mutually beneficial place to exchange, is that ok? The bird is not entered in the show & will not be leaving my vehicle until it is transferred to the new owner's vehicle.

I don't want to break any rules or put anyone's show birds or the show itself in danger.

Thanks.

Make the switch at a Denny's or some other place and then go and enjoy the show.

Walt

I'm really looking forward to the show. What would be a good time for an observer to be there on Saturday?

and from @ronott1 "I am so happy that the Pita Pintas do not do this! My Australorps did dig holes--I finally got some lawn back last year."

No wonder my back yard looks like the surface of the moon! <3 my Dels and my Australorps!

lol, at least my birds mostly limit themselves to digging in the shade... or in my potted plants if they get a chance.
My Orps sure like to dig! They seem to especially like to excavate the corners of the run. Dig. Dig. Dig.
My orps are big diggers, they are too good for the dustbaths I provide and like to dig their own, or to dig down to cool/damp earth in the summer heat.

Also, at long last, I got my first Marans egg! Very spotty, a good size for a pullet egg. It'll be interesting to see what I get when the color levels out some.

Left- pale EE. Center- Marans pullet. Right- from a hen hatched from Trader Joe's white eggs. Bottom- a quail double-yolker.
