Love the name!!! We are big Star Trek TNG fans here! Congrats on the chicks, too! I have some due to hatch Friday
I brought home a bantam cornish and a cuckoo d'anvers from the show.
I will get pictures tomorrow.
I adopted a MASSIVE french black copper maran roo from Kern. He's been de-crowed and all you hear is a breathy squeak. I have named him Jean-Luc, tipping my hat to Star Trek TNG.
I will post a video when i get a good one.
My turkey are very curious about him - they are almost the same size. Seems to me that he can't wait to get out of quarantine to join his new harem.
I had the most delightful morning greeting from my incubator - the peeping of a new Old English Game bantam. Followed in a couple hours by a silkie, a silkie cross & 2 showgirls. This evening i have 2 more silkies, another showgirl and more pips...hope i can sleep...pics tomorrow...
They were captured very early in the morning when they came down to eat.. There was the obvious male, but the female was up against the roof. They stayed up there during the entire show Saturday.

I looked for them Sunday morning when I was cooping out, but I didn't see them. That's what I was told. I didn't see the peafowl Sunday but others did so maybe the time to get them was this morning. In any event the club had to capture them.
