Are you going fishing?

Whiting raises and sells chickens--he uses the feathers for his fishing lures.

Of course I just couldn't find anything on his breeds. What does he have that you might consider such a drive?
Sorry to be so nosy, but I like a lot of your favorite breeds. The Pina Pintas are most tempting

Whiting has the base stock of the Arkansas Blues and he also has a green egg laying breed.

Thanks for the info Ron.

I want Chet to mail me some hatching eggs!(and not ship them in sawdust).

Oh yes! I'd go in on a order for some of his giganto-bird Aurstralorps.

Me too. Just a few maybe. I just love my little production Aussie girl from Cheryl way back in 2012. At least Chet is close enough driving is possible.

@ronott1 Not that I would expect my birds to produce like Whiting's, but I was going to try Ark Blue over Barred Rock that I have for a sex-linked green layer. If I'm correct in my assumptions.
Yes, you would get a green egg layer. If the Barred Plymouth rock is a hatchery bird, you would get high productivity too.

Im going on a trip to AZ first weekend in march with my brothers and father not sure we would be a ble to pick up chicks though (hatching eggs maybe) We will be returning the Monday

Im not exactly sure where in AZ we are going though at the moment.

Duncan Arizona in on the New Mexican boarder. It looks close to Tucson but would be a bit of a drive to get there.

Chris: hatching eggs would be great!

color they are i think they are all adorable haha! At how many days old could i pick them up? And when do you think the next clutch will hatch?
Farmers feed in Gilroy gets them every now and then. FYI, unless you're in county, I don't think you can have them, but don't quote me on that.
