Had fun at the Norcal show My kids very well and really are getting the " showing bug". It was really nice talking to the judges and fellow chicken people. I even ran into an old friend who I hadnt seen in years.




My kid's tired hens...done with showing and wanting to go home.

Wow! That is Amazing! Congratulations to them. I remember admiring that hen at the show...

Oo, Frieda's annoyed! We've got someone staying with us, who's had chickens in the past, and didn't realize that I had already gotten today's eggs. So anyway, here comes A with a t-shirt full of eggs. At least everyone got to watch Frieda tuck the eggs back under herself...

Speaking of which, do chickens sometimes reject eggs based on color? Frieda will not allow a white egg under herself, though she'll keep a white golf ball toasty. I'm hoping that she doesn't decide to reject blue eggs, when they arrive.
