new update on chicks, i am 100% sure she has accepted them, yay in the new coop i have i nice nest box with shavings, but mom opted to sleep next to it, lol. but they are doing well, i will let them into the run today when the run is in the sun in an hour or so, i will post pictures

Hello all! I've been trying like crazy to find seramas around east bay preferably frizzles. It's getting late in the year and I'm only finding bantams. Also on the look out for chocolate orpingtons as well as lavenders. If any one has any leads it would be greatly appreciated!

Any tips on getting a hen to brood inside? My Serama hen is lazy like crazy,my phoenix gave up and I think killed my eggs so I need to try and get my Serama to brood

well being a person with a hen raising chick i should know you just get chickens that brood, you cant force them to they just do

still have roosters for sale....... beilfelders and marans. great table birds for eating. also have legbars who carry a blue egg gene. breed him to any brown laying hen and chicks will be easter eggers. and they will lay blue and green eggs. also have a wyandotte. silver laced. messege me if you are interested.

A male with the blue egg gene, mated to a brown laying hen will give green eggs. No blue, unless the hen is a mix and carries blue recessive.

She is a Pita Pinta. I got her from @PetRock . She's a lovely calm chicken.

Awesome! Glad to hear mom accepted them. I may be going through the same thing soon cause I don't know if any of my eggs are gonna hatch!
