A new broody (thankfully not one of my breeders), my daughters can't wait until she hatches their eggs. I knew this would happen since I got my new incubator.

This is the third one, but I let her stay broody since she isn't one of my breeders. My daughter's brahma pullet went broody after laying for only a couple weeks, luckily we were able to break her.

Yes, it is divisive--I just share information though. We all do what we think is best for the chickens and should not get worked up about it.

They are your chickens, not mine after all.

She has talked about getting chickens but is renting while going to school now.

I could give her some very nice pullets from Trader Joes and Whole foods--I have 17 of them growing out. They are 12 weeks old--about a month from laying eggs. A couple of them are starting to get pink combs already too.
