California - Northern

I am in Stockton, I considerer us hands down Northern California. I would say the dividing line should be around Bakersfield or Kettleman City if it ever came down to it.

I consider Stockton about the cutoff. I was from So California (Riverside then Kern County) and am in Mendocino Co now. I travel to different areas in the state and base the separation on feel more than population or a chop in the middle.

I was at the feed store TRYING not to buy any birds, I was looking at the leghorns and I saw a bright red comb on a chick that couldn't have been more than 10 days old, I probably should have told them, but I didn't, I hope someone didn't buy it thinking it was a pullet!
