I have not seen any emails about price increases. Last time I checked, it was. checked again and it is still free. You have to use the backyard chicken submission form. Details as below:Hi everyone, hope all of you are doing well. Question for @ronott1 or anyone else that might know, are necropsies at the Davis/CAHFS labs still free?

Yes you can and you should use Fedex for shipping.you can also call and get their FedEx acct number to ship free initially.
Quote: Must be nice, lol. Too far for me to drive, so I ship mine. Last big box was $20, smaller box was only $9.

nice! And lucky. I've only had to send one bird so far but can see sending more in the future as my flock grows. It's a great option for small flock owners for sure.Yes you can and you should use Fedex for shipping.
I work on campus so I drop them off during lunch break. It is totally free for me.
Quote: One of the pathologists asked me if I thought people would be willing to pay for necropsies, and I told him probably not, lol. Hopefully it will remain free.
