I don't think it's a North South issue more like valley vs mountains. I'm from dinsmore CA Humboldt co but live in Chico now and I don't consider Chico southern California but it's nothing like my home lol it's about elevation.

There a little ones all the time. The next Official BYC hatch a long will be the Easter Hatch a long.

I will be a helper for that one.

Easter is April 16 this year. The hatch a long will likely start Mid February. Set dates will be 21 days ahead for chickens and then different dates for other fowl. Emus would need to be set the earliest of course.

Hi to Northern Californians--
My daughter lives in Berkeley now and would like to find someone local with a small flock of organic free-range hens from which to buy eggs. She's vegan but eats my eggs when home because she knows the hens are loved and happy and never mistreated. Anyone in or near Berkeley with such eggs to share?
