California - Northern

You know that corner (when you look at a map) that nevada buts in? That to me is the line between north and south california.
That cuts out 3/4 of the state! Does California have four parts!

ALL ARE WELCOME Here!

Even from other states lol

:hugs

Hello! My father is a contractor in El dorado county, placerville and other surrounding areas. Though he might think the request is a bit weird. i don't know hen his next open window would be either! probably not till sometime next month. He built my chicken coop... Its big and nice looking. but it won't be cheap to go through him. Check out TMarcona construction to see. He has a website and Facebook page for your business.
That is great and very helpful!

Thanks!

I guess I can stay on the Thread now...

It really depends on if you go with north, central and south....but we also have north coast, bay area, Sierras and of course desert near death valley.

California is an amazing place! All are welcome

Hi all not trying to offend, but it may be hard to convince anyone from around here that Sac or Santa Rosa is Northern Cal. Central for sure. I'm gonna say Woodland is the cut off.
Growing up in Northern border towns I felt the same way. After all the moves DH and I have done it's easier to include other cities.

Is anyone here breeding Arkansas Blues? I have a very nice splash male, that I was planning on keeping, but he cannot stay here. He is overmating a couple of my hens.

I was noticing a lot of them were staying on the roosts during the day, so I put him in a different coop. That one little change, and they are all off the roosts, happily outside today. (even though I have other roosters out there) So he is just too much for them.

Anyone going to the Pacific Poultry breeders show in Modesto Feb. 3rd and 4th? It would be fun to get together and talk. Maybe meet in the little coffee corner. Kern
