Mine are fine so far. Once again the misting system is keeping them cool

Do you have a photo? I have these bucket top fan misters, but they run out of battery early.

Forgot to mention, I did run a mister on the roof of the coop today.

I do not know if I have a picture of them. I have the Orbit Arizona misters-- two strings in the side yard and one in the small pen.

I like it! I have a spilled feed mess and think I might have a mold problem if I did major misting everywhere. I did buy some supplies last year with the intent of rigging something up. May put it on the outside of the run on the east facing side to cool off the morning sun. The west side is shaded by a giant walnut tree.

They spill a lot less with feeders like this:

Amazon sells them as feeders or kits where you can use your own bucket. The ones they sell are also water proof along with wasting less feed.

Thanks. I need to make the switch. I keep several small feeders all around to keep the lower ranked girls from starving. Once the chicks are bigger, I think I’ll switch over.

Now I am curious. How are people's chickens fairing in this heat? The last couple of days have been quite hot here.
