I found the gal's email and would be happy to provide it to you by PM if you're still interested (I have no idea if she'd be okay with me posting it publicly, so better play it safe). To answer your previous question, the one time I went, they had various breeds at various ages. You can email her and ask if they have any older legbars. By the way, my legbar lays true blue eggs. I can take a photo if you'd like.
I am sorry to hear this!Hi we have been traveling since the beginning of February till now from Washington State from before the first Corona BS happened there and are now in Baja Mexico for a funeral but had to keep our birds with someone in Santa Rosa, CA because of the thirty day quarentine rules for birds in and out of Mexico and USA. One mallard duck has developed feather loss on his chest and we have been told by family to stay in Mexico during this Corona insanity but our birds need some help. The person watching them is a bit overwhelmed with animals and can't seem to take the best care of them. Or keep clean water in their pen. Is anyone near Santa Rosa, CA that could help them? Can anyone tell me why he's losing all these feathers for the last month over time? Can someone help our birds while we are in Mexico? Heard borders are closing and our home state is going psycho with basically martial law and 1984 social distancing laws.
Yeah, we know that soggy mud all too well over here. This weather is perplexing. Fruit trees blossomed and then a cold spell started - guess I should forget about any good harvest this year.Pretty sick and tired of the Corona pandemic plus it's been soggy weather with lousy Santa Ana Winds here in the south:
The day before this photo my DH put a new top on this crumpled mess! -- TY Santa Ana Winds!

Slushy slippery gooey mud and rain everywhere

The one canopy that didn't blow away or crumple is over the only dry sandbox our girls can use!

Yes, enjoy the sun while it lasts!Same here -- yearly if I get ONE fruit off each citrus tree I consider myself lucky! My small veggies -- lettuces and chard -- I plant in containers and keep under the patio roof to protect them. Otherwise they'd all be washed away in the winter rains or scorched to death in summer if they're planted in our open raised beds!
This is the cucumber raised bed and the winds and rain have decimated the cover -- but luckily cukes are fairly hardy in all kinds of weather.

In between downpours I managed to pllant ONE tomato seedling in the tomato bed and then the rain poured down on the poor thing. Gonna go out and squeeze a couple more plants into the bed before the next rain comes either tonight or tomorrow.

I know your winds are more impactful than ours, but I've found chard is quite hardy in various conditions.
