Hi Crowzzz,
California is a long narrow state with many different climates. I agree completely with you. I am a Tehama County native (Go Spartans!) but now live in Woodland. I consider Woodland to be North Central California. Of course, it is in the Valley so when I went to Shasta College(Go knights!), friends from Weaverville called me a Flat Lander.
My current favorite is when the "CBI" from the Mentalist show bop from Sacramento to SanFrancisco from scene to scene like it is a 20 min drive. One time they were doing this stuff between Sacramento and San Diego
That distance takes you through a lot of States on the East Coast.
Bye,
Ron

I agree with Sandra, I always get a kick out of the So Cal news people that say something happened in No.Cal and they are talking Fresno, or San Jose, as though there is nothing farther North. We are just south of Redding, in Cottonwood, yes Redding is in the center of CA East and West, but a nice 1 1/2 hour drive has you in Oregon. I would put the line at about Sacramento/San Fran area.
