Thanks Ron! I knew they were used in cakes, but I'm not eating cakes right now. (down 15 pounds and not looking to find it again) I have made Angel Food cakes with my eggs and it is fantastic! I love anything custardy too, so I will have to make a curd sometime.

Good luck Meg!

You can put the lemon curd on high fiber bread without the butter. I read that you are supposed to have carbs in them morning and cut them in the afternoon.

This would be perfect for that.

Keep up the good work on losing weight!

It's starting to look like live popcorn in my incubator. There was no way I could count the chicks, but so far I see 21 empty quail eggs and quite a few more still pipped/zipping. I originally set 39 eggs. Hopefully they'll finish up hatching this morning.

Now, where to put the little bumblebees.................

That is exactly how I describe a quail hatch.....just like watching popcorn.....LOL So funn.........it's that kind of things that keeps me in chicken trouble....LOL, always looking for that next exciting moment.

Plain yogurt is good for them. I get the big tub from the Grocery Outlet and give them a couple of spoons in the morning. They do not digest yogurt so too much is not good for them and yes, plain and not flavored or sweetened.

It it good to see him walking around!

Good Job

My chickens prefer an occasional Greek Yogurt.
