My husband shoots what we trap and he's tried to figure out how to shoot the skunk without making it release but I don't think there's a way. I think when they die they release. I hate when it's a skunk in the trap! We throw all the remains over the cliff in front of our house for the wildlife to eat. (and when I say "we" I of course mean my husband)Quote: I watched an episode of Dirty Jobs where the pest guy was trapping a bunch of critters including skunks. They caught a family of them...even though they covered them to keep it dark, the skunk still sprayed in the trap. I would be careful with skunks--they often have Rabies.

I might have to buy or trade you some hatching eggs when they start laying Jason.
Thanks! If anyone is so inclined- I entered a chicken pic http://www.facebook.com/Egg.Carton.Labels.by.ADozenGirlz/app_418636651527372 and my image is that fluffy feather one of one of my pullets (at 23 weeks she is almost a hen lol!)..I would so love to win first prize! hehe
How is everyone? Still no eggs here.... *sniff*

Hi, I might be moving to Ripon from Modesto due to a tragedy in my family. I can't seem to find the laws regarding chickens in Ripon? Can someone help? Thank you.

We had to dispose of skunks when I was growing up. We never found a way to shoot them without them spraying.
I really hate the smell too.
