I'm taking a break from hatching for 6 months....or at least that's the plan (I need to slow down and concentrate of improving my health)

I'm looking for trustworthy, honest hatchers/breeders that would be interested in hatching and raising some of the birds I breed. There will be an agreement to split the birds once they can be determined for quality.

Is anyone interested or know of someone that would like to partner in this way?

I'm looking for experienced hatchers, people that are passionate about improving the breeds I have and have a strong sense of integrity.

And of course love having FUN!

I am so glad you are taking a break. Sometimes it's really the best thing for our healthy and sanity. I hope someone on here can help out! Because of my crazy love for Orps- when I have room for some more- your Jubilees are next on my list of Orps to get. Soooooo pretty. I hope this break does AMAZING things for your health!! <3

Thanks for your kind words

Yikes maybe I wasn't clear though in my first statement, I'm not leaving any of my projects/breeds, I will continue to work with my flocks and all my grow-outs, but I think it's a shame if I have eggs to hatch, that need to be raised to improve the breeds, I hate to waste them. Does that make sense?

And I love the idea of partnering with people and having them help improve the breeds!

Id love to help you out with the blue/gold Brahma project. Those are my second favorite chicken variety period! I love hatching chicks, AND I just converted my old 1st coop into a brooder. So I have a brooder now I can fit about 75 chicks into. I just finished building a 8x8 hoop coop and I started the 10x10 today. So I have lots of room to house. I ha e total 5 acres I can play with. I was going to order 50 EO chicks from James Meeks this coming month. But I'd be more than willing to hold off from getting anymore chicks to start in this project. 8x8 10x10 in construction....

Abby is my biggest helper, she's one of my first hens. A hatchery speckled sussex. She's a 7-time mom so far and should be voted MOM of the year....she's amazing. Here she is with the 12 show quality SS we are breeding. they just hatched yesterday! I love her.
