California - Northern

Correct, they should be in the BST section. Listed as a classified if they are for sale or in the Animals in Need of Free Rehoming if they are free. Once you set up the classified, you can link it to your signature or mention it in this thread with a link.

Hope that helps.
Thank you! I don't want to break any rules if I can help it!

Wow, Thanks !
Yes we have property there in Lower Lake, and Dad still has his place at the "Y" or "Wye" at 29 & 53.
He just missed getting the "Wye" fire.....by mere 50 yards or so.
Still no rain down there ?

I'm in Middletown (just moved here from Napa about a month ago). We weren't here for the majority of the fires this summer but the one burning in Lower Lake right is too close for comfort. It moved so quickly but was going north. We haven't had any rain yet, its in the forecast for next week though.

This is one of my best fbcm roosters. How is his comb? Is it ok? I don't have any perfect Roos from my 2 batches but he is one of my best.

And this is my - so far- only keeper buff orp rooster. But several days ago I noted his comb was funky and dirty?
None of the other roosters have this. And I have like 10 roosters lol. Just him.

Also my little bantam rooster, Foghorn is downright sassy. Copper is so far my most dominant rooster but Foghorn pushes him around. Umm...a little bantam? LOL

It seems as though my hugest and most attractive rooster, Copper, has some of the mold/resp issue. I was hoping not and you can only hear it when you hold him which is why I must not have seen it before. He is HUGE though and does such a great job looking after all them. When I was holding the one buff orp roo for pics- Copper was standing by my feet all puffy oogling me. Never charging me lol but making sure I knew he knew that I was forcing myself on the buff rooster. I turned around and picked him up much to his surprise. hahaha He totally lets you pet him. ;)

I am going to keep my eye on him. But I am bummed. I don't want to lose Copper. He is HUGE and handsome. So tall and has that rooster swagger with his nice green tail.

All of my chickens look like this. They've been eating fallen apples and dust bathing with sticky faces!

I know this is a chicken forum but does anyone locally know where to get mallard ducks?
I have seen all sorts of other breeds on Craigslist though. Where are you? Maybe try your local Craigslist. I know people say Northern California and assume any of it would be local but I am in Redding and that is really up North and some people the Bay Area is local. Metzers is So Cal BUT depending on where you are located that could be relatively close to you. We got most of our ducks and both of our geese from Metzers.
