California - Northern

Thanks, I love this sweet little d'uccle and will keep him if I don't find him a home..... but if someone could use what I think is a good quality roo in their breeding program... I am happy to share.

The Swede... well he deserves a nice hot bath is a pot.

Two of my culls have a nice new home in Sonoma, now. Lucky birds! I have two more, young Silver Gray Dorking hens that need new homes. They are fine for egg laying, but not breeding quality. If you know of anyone who needs backyard laying hens, let them know.

Yeah, My new Sulmtaler rooster arrived from Arizona today. He looks happy and healthy.

I was up most of the night worrying about him. First time I've ever had an adult bird shipped and it was a breeze. I got a call from the PO at 6am and ran down to get him. I am beyond thrilled.
That is Great Deann,
Sulmteler look like neat birds

Oh my gosh seriously. How do you all do this? I am having anxiety at the thought of selling Samson! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I cannot seem to hit the final buttons in CL. I have him priced at $20. ahhhh
that is tough. I generally have to give my roosters away.
I say give him away but to someone not very local. I will often times have people drive over a hour to get mine.
I figure if they want roosters to eat they will take free local ones. the cost of gas from sacramento to my house offsets any benefit of a free eating chicken

It is hard... I wish we could just incubate hens until we need a Rooster. :) It sucks to have to rehome so many Roosters!
