Crap!  My wellie cockerel that is now gone was starting to mate and my only wellie pullet that I REALLY need for breeding is limping badly.  She just lays down during the day.  I need her to recover!  She's from another breeder and I want her genes in my flock.

I wish her a speedy recovery

OK the south is below Fresno. Fresno north to Sacramento is central, then there is the north. the central must be all the coast and the mountains and this great valley.

Can you tell why she is limping? I've had success putting mildly injured birds in a crate for a few days. Gives them a chance to recover.

Oh no!!! Poor pullet. Gosh I hope she's ok and that the cockerel returns!

My daughter gave me a big Kiss this morning and was off to school.... Thirty minutes later I get a call from a police officer. My daughter had neen in a car accident... Never been so scared in my life.. I jump in my car " in my PJ's" raced to the accident .... She was a little banged up. The car is a mess...but she is fine THANK GOD! Her little face was so scared...just a reminder of how fast our world could change... I love my kids more then ANYTHING ! Grateful she will be fine...
