What to do with extra eggs and an extra pie crust!

I thawed out one of the EO Basque 20 week old Cockerels to cook for dinner. I am going to make Chicken Tika Masla but need t wait until tomorrow. I forgot that I need to marinate the chicken.

Here is a picture of the cockerel cut up. The breast halves are split in two. The Back is split and on the right side.

I did manage to put 9 into lockdown expecting at least some of them to hatch. Today is hatch day and so far no pips.

I have Crele Pene x CLs in the same incubator and 10 of 12 are developing. They came from Juststruttin so did not travel far.

I forgot to close the chicken yard last night and now I have Deer in there. A momma and a younger one. One more standing outside looking in. I hope they will remember where the gate is. I'd go get a picture but do not want to be charged my momma

That does look good! It looks like he has quite a bit of meat on him! How did he taste? I think that we need the recipe!

Our turkey was good on Thanksgiving but the 3 homegrown chickens that we had the night before were better!
