Semi-National next February I think it is? You bet. Just not sure how many birds I'll take.

Kate, something about that barred is throwing me off, this is what barred should look like as far as color goes, and this is still a rough patterned barred. this is my late barred cock from Jerry... i have a barred hen from Amy, she was shown by Jerry at the 08 Ohio National, she still lays occasionally, the eggs are big, but i haven't had one hatch yet.

i like the type on ur guy, but he needs another dose of the color, imo

okay, here's a cockerel I got pics of today, he is about 5 months old, he is in the cull pen now, but i might move him to the keeper pen, im liking color and type, but he is a big guy and his legs are green, i will give him a chance to prove himself, and if i have enough roos and i dont need him i will offer him to someone else who needs a start

I totally agree with you, Austin. He is not fully barred but only on his hackle and saddle. He is quite unique looking and loaded with type

Kate, that spangled has a fabulous tail!

And that barred is neat looking too.

Can I ask a technical question? What is a "split tail" mean when you hear that as a criticism for a bird?
