Bill- beware.... My Australorp hen tried to kill herself hatching infertile eggs, wouldnt' eat, wouldnt poop, wouldnt drink, she looked HORRIBLE!! I had to slip some freshies from the feedstore under her one night, and !! Voila!!! Insta-mom!! And happily ever after

well ill watch her close.....so far no brooding but i was totally taken with her wanting to make this nest....if she goes broody ill give her some eggs i have waiting to go into the incubator.

and tomorrow is lock down for 2 eggs both had movement as of this morning when i was in the incubator adding water.....crossing fingers again

I will bring my babies to the Sept meet up. They'll be 2-1/2 months old then.
