roostersandhens, this might be what you are looking for, I copied from Los Angeles Urban Chicken Enthusiasts, original post by jacie from Auburn, CA
If you can add a couple hens to your flock, can you adopt from Animal Place? They are looking for homes and if you can't take any, could you please share this message? Fill out a form to adopt. Animal Place is coming to Los Angeles in February, so apply now!

Thats why I remembered February and adoption!! EGGSCELLENT!

WOW, I know this is a week late, but what a nice BONANZA of eggies you got that day! Are the girlz still cranking them out for ya?

Well our blue eggar is giving us green eggs.... and out of the 14 girls we get something from 13 of them. Not sure if our Brahma has given an egg yet. We get 6 to 11 eggs a day... I guess we average 7.5 a day. lol We have started to sell our eggs at $4 a dozen to offset the cost of food and supplies and the main reason was a big egg surplus.

UPDATE ON THIS DUCK.....she went up for adoption on the 17th.. there are two peeps that will be going to the shelter Wednesday to get her and then, she will get delivered to her new home in San Diego area. Hopefully no one comes and gets her today...

Have two Silkie roo's available for adoption. They will need to be picked up because I won't risk shipping them. I'm located in Wilmington, CA . Partridge silkie is supposed to be SQ. Splash roo was main man to my laying flock before I decided to down size. Please send me a PM if interested.
