I have people though who ask about buying ready to lay pullets so was growing some up on the organic feed i sell. Probably lose money on them but it's fun for my kids anyways & they get to raise chicks without feeling I will keep them all.

These Hemet jokes are cracking me up! I have some people who want me to bring feed to Hemet & I have a friend in San Jacinto who can't travel who is bugging me to visit her & I'm like "Isn't Hemet in another country?" even though it is way closer than my San Diego run I do every other month. Honestly, our daughter got married at Heart Home Farm in Hemet & I couldn't have found a more beautiful place for a wedding! (But we did feel like we were driving to another country when we went there

Hey guys may offer a suggestion? If you are hosting the meetup then the schedule to go by is your schedule...I'm sure everyone appreciates your efforts to accomodate everyone else but there will be those won't be able to make it and that's ok...we will have more scheduled that people can make it to so don't stress so much about it.

I think it is so close to the Norco one that those of us who went to that are good for now. Plus some people (not me) might be hesitant to go to someone's house rather than a public place. Plus it is a really busy time of year (although lately it seems all times of the year are busy now!). maybe you will get some others chime in that they want to come when they get a chance to catch up on the thread so don't give up yet. It is awesome to open your home & yard to people so they can hang out & fellowship & talk "chickenese"

I too apologize if you were offended with chick pricing comments but this is the perfect place to discuss it.

you have the free will to set prices where ever you want.

if your pricing or rational veers from the norm, to not expect comments is unrealistic.

i would definitely love to attend any meet-up. be it in pomona (or even hemet! lol) i think its cool that y'all are offering up your places - thank you

With the meet up just completed and the Ramona meet up in June, it may be hard to get one together on short nootice

Is the 31st, Memorial Weekend? Where would you want to hold this meet-up? There will be a meet-up on June 8th in Ramona for BYC and CPP as well.

It's the following weekend in Pomona... Ramona is a pretty long drive, and these ladies want a day so others can unload their Easter hatches and give those who didn't find what they wanted at the Norco meet or who still have animals that didn't sell in Norco..
