Is anybody going to the Mike's mira loma auction? His site is very vague as to what to do and I want to sell my two pilgrim geese...plus see what people are offering. Is the next poultry auction this father's day? His callendar is from last year (lame!). Pleeeeeeeaaaaase, somebody who knows what I'm talking about heeeeeeellllp meee!

The first ever all Serama show in California will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Collier Park in Ramona, CA. This will be a double show , both with table top judging. Judging begins at 10::00 am sharp. This is guaranteed to be the largest gathering of Serama and Serama enthusiasts in the state! Junior exhibitor classes will be included in addition to silkied and frizzled Serama classes. There will be birds for sale, crafts, a BBQ and raffle table!

Anyone wishing to bring birds for sale, any breed will be accepted! Please contact Cara Hamer at [email protected].

Anyone wishing to bring craft, jewelry, etc., for sale, please also contact Cara Hamer.

For questions or an entry packet, please contact Kate Meyers at [email protected]. Entry packets can be emailed, faxed, or mailed. Special early discounted fee if entries are received by May 28th!

My little white Ameraucana roo still needs a home. He's almost 6 weeks old, and muffs are coming in already. He's free for pick-up but $5 if I have to deliver him within Lancaster/Palmdale. I got him from NoseyChickens so you can check out her pictures of her Ameraucanas if you'd like to see this little guy as an adult or juvenile. PM me if you're interested.
Here's a pic of him at 4 weeks old. He's really active and loves to perch on hands, fingers, arms, shoulders.

Hi, So-Cal folks!

If any of you are thinking about trekking up north for the California State Fair in July, we're having a BYC Get-together at the state fair poultry exhibit on July 31. We got together last year and had so much fun, we're doing it again this year.

He's the original post about the meetup. Would LOVE to see meet some of the great so-cal folks on here, so if you can come, that'd be awesome!

Im newbie.. We live in Yorba Linda and have 2 buff orpingtons. We love them. Can't wait for them to start laying eggs. It would be great to connect with others in my area.
