The 4TH ANNUAL SPRING CHICKEN MEET-UP!!!!

DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 12th

PLACE: NORCO- NEIL SNIPES PARK on the corner of 5th and Hammer

TIME: usually start around 10AM till the cows come home!

WHAT WE DO: TALK "SHOP' BUY / TRADE / SWAP / OOGLE EVERYONES BIRDIES & CHICKS! Bring the kids, bring your grandparents, come one come all!
Bring yer favorite birdies too and let them play in the sun and grass.....we all love to see every ones birds.
There is a beautiful open air pavillion w/ picnic tables that we use. PLEASE bring yer own lunch and drinks. If you want to share goodies…sell goodies….COOL BEANS!

YOU CAN RUN...BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM THE GREAT CHICKEN MEET-UP!! AND TO MAKE THINGS EVEN BETTER...THE NORO TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE IS HAVING THEIR GRAND OPENING ON THE 12TH!

IF there is interest we will have a raffle, so bring goodies to raffle off. The money pot from this will be raffled off to 3 lucky peeps 50% / 30% / 20% so its a great deal!

We will also have a 30 second seminar on injections and whatever else you might want to talk about...just let me know.

P.S. Of course doggies are more than welcome to come but please remember they have to be on leash, not all of the birdies are used to dogs..Thank you for your consideration with this....LOL

Thanks for all of your who answer to my post asking who was selling laying hens. I was fortunate enough to get 2 beautiful hens from "SixHix". Thanks to everybody tho.

Sorry Kind folks that were welcoming me to this group. I was in the hospital for 6 days.

I really don't know much about chickens. I guess we want friendly ones that like to interact with humans. We want laying ones. How old are they then?

Where do I go to find out what supplies are needed to have chickens?

Welcome to the WONDERFUL WORLD of chickens! IF you want to go for a nice drive to Norco on the 12th of April, we are having our 4th annual Spring chicken meet-up and you can learn tons and tons of great stuff from all of us friendly chicken folk. We love new people to join us!

carriebain and I have decided to host our first So. CA meet-up on Saturday May 24th. It will be located in the city of Pomona at my home, PM me for the address so I can get a proper head count.

We figure this will be a great opportunity to swap some of your Easter Hatch-Alongs and as well as meet some new chicken keeping friends. We're going to go with the potluck style, so if you're interested in coming please message me with what you'd like to bring. I plates, silverware, and cups for up to 50 and will supply a lasagna (just for you hosspak)

I advise you bring a chair if you want to sit down (I have a few but not enough) and if you need a table to set up on, please plan to supply your own.

Doors will open at 10am and we'll go till ????

hosspak is selling me his big lite Brahma hen and she needs a sister........Prospective hen will be living on 8,000sq ft. of real grass! get fed high quality food and be used occasionally for a high end petting zoo. There is already a Buff Orp and a RIR and now a lite Brahma so we want a hen that is different in color and looks than these 3 girls.
