I want to say I saw this discussed at some point, but do you all have suggestions of where to get an incubator serviced locally? I was given a cabinet one and have never attempted to turn it on. It was outside for a number of years under a tarp and I would love to have it looked at and see if it runs properly. I know I should play without myself for a bit and see if it heats up and check temps, just don't feel super confident fiddling with it.

@TJChickens was it you that knew of a place that serviced incubators? I remember someone had a place down San Diego way that recommended a repair shop.

How awesome to get a cabinet bator donated!!! But, I'm with you, I have no desire to mess with them. I have 3 Brinseas - 2 are within 1/2 degree from each other, the third is 3 degrees different. I contacted Brinsea and they sent me notes on how to recalibrate it. I just stopped using it.....

Lloyn in Chula Vista will do repairs/servicing on many types of incubator.
Have not been in a while but super nice people.

Hi TJChickens,
I bought a couple of Serama Roos from you a while back. I hatched out two boys from one of your daddys and need to sell them. Any Serama shows coming up?
Or where can I post them for sale?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year Everyone! I have a friend in Cathedral City CA who is looking to buy pastured eggs for eating. Anyone of you might be someone or know of someone with eggs available? Thanks!

I’m Would anyone be interested in a 4 month old Bantam Rooster for breeding or as a tiny flock protector. I already have another large rooster and he’s too small to fend for himself. Located in Agua Dulce (outside of Santa Clarita)

Pastured eggs are pretty widely available in so cal in stores. Expensive but not hard to come by. Have they tried whole foods or Trader Joes?
The local supplier here is a farm in Ramona and the hens really do roam pastures.
