I'm in Pasadena. I'm willing to meet someone with him, if the distance is reasonable.

Oh, we are up in Tehachapi, probably 2.5 hours from you. That is a little far, I think. For some reason, I thought this was the High Desert thread. If you were willing to meet in Santa Clarita or Palmdale, I might be able to meet you. Let me know.

I can't bring him quite that far - sorry! I was hoping someone more in the LA area might be interested . . . or maybe someone else on the thread happens to be heading your way? I know SOMEONE'S got to want this little cutie!

We are putting in another bulk order of food from an organic company up north to be shipped down here. There is room for about 30 more bags on the order... so just PM me if you want to get in on it. We will be distributing them at our next meet-up on April 23rd at Lake Murray Park in San Diego.

Thanks!

I have extra BC Marans roos if you are looking for one. Also silkie (about 4 or 5 white, blue and black), and a dark buff (almost red) frizzled roo. I'm in North Edwards about 45 minutes from you, but we could meet in Mojave. Only the silkies are mating and crowing so far, the rest are too young. PM me if you're interested.

Has anyone ever gone to Mike's Livestock Auction , at Mira Loma?

Any opinions - I'm thinking mainly of looking for feeder/waterer etc, maybe a couple of day old or pullets, but, mainly just out of curiosity.

So, any comments - do they tend to have much poultry/supplies etc? Healthy birds, or hatchery offcasts? is it an intimidating atmosphere for an auction newbie?

I know it must vary greatly from month to month, but, any comments would be appreciated.

Also, how long, on average does it last?

TIA for anything :)
